StudyStats (“we”, “our”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through study-stats.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: name, email, phone number and project details submitted via the contact form or email.
- Automatically collected: anonymised usage data (pages visited, device type, country) via Google Analytics 4 and, where consent is given, Google Ads conversion tracking.
- Cookies: a cookie-consent banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and deliver agreed services.
- To improve the website (aggregate analytics only).
- To measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Lawful basis (POPIA / GDPR)
We process personal information on the basis of your consent (form submissions, analytics) and legitimate interest (responding to direct enquiries). You may withdraw consent at any time.
Data retention
Enquiry emails are retained for 24 months. Analytics data is retained for the minimum period configured in Google Analytics (currently 14 months).
